Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Dominick Ambroise
Meet, Dr. Dominick Ambroise Dental Care Bridgewater’s Lead Dentist. A born New Yorker, Dr. Ambroise started his relationship with New Jersey just a few miles from Bridgewater, at the New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University. There, he graduated with honors and received a scholarship to attend dental school at Columbia University, where he was a distinguished scholar. There, he achieved a dual degree with a masters in education at the same time as he achieved his Doctorate in Dental surgery. He uses his mastery in education to teach his patients about the procedures he does in a calm and confident way. He’s been with us at Dental Care since finishing his education through his residency at Hackensack UMC a top residency in New Jersey.
A family man, Dr. Ambroise and his wife Alescandra are raising their three kids in Toms River. In his off time he loves sports, comics, gaming, podcasts, and travel. A trailblazer by nature Dr. Ambroise loves breaking barriers and showing his patients that dentistry doesn’t have to be a scary process, and that it can even be fun when you have right team taking care of you.
Dr. Russel O’Connell
Dr. Russell O’Connell grew up in Hunterdon County NJ and attended the University of New England College of Dental Medicine where he was part of their inaugural class. Graduating with honors, Dr. O’Connell practiced in New England for many years before returning to Hunterdon County. When he isn’t seeing patients, he loves to fish and ride his motorcycle. Dr. O’Connell loves to interact with his patients and help them love their smile again!
Dr. Sonja Rajput
Was born and raised in New York and attended NYU, completing her undergraduate degree. She continued her education at NYU College of Dentistry and received a degree in Dental Surgery.
She completed an extra year of training and education in restorative and esthetic dentistry and continues her education by taking courses in endodontics, esthetic dentistry, veneers and invisalign.
Dr. Rajput currently lives in NJ with her husband and likes to spend her free time traveling and visiting her family. She is very friendly, caring and dedicated to listening to the needs of her patients. Her main goal is to help achieve the healthy beautiful smile her patients desire.
Dr. Stephanie Weintraub
Dr. Stephanie Weintraub was born and raised in East Brunswick, NJ. She attended Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania and received her undergraduate degree in chemistry. She then continued on to NYU to complete her dental degree and completed her residency program at Newark Beth Israel Hospital, where she was named the Resident of the Year! “When I am not taking care of patients in the office I love to spend time with my family, hiking and baking (to feed my sweet tooth)! I enjoy providing charity dentistry in places as far away as Guatemala and as close to home as the Bronx and in public schools through the “Give Kids A Smile Program.”
Dr. Amanda Hochstein
Dr. Amanda Hochstein earned her D.D.S. degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, where she was able to train under some of the most prestigious members of her field. She earned her board certification in Periodontics, and has lectured at local and national dental conferences on a wide variety of periodontal topics. She has extensive experience in all aspects of periodontal treatment, from implants to bone regeneration, to gum grafting and laser therapy. She is also a member of the board of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists. Dr. Hochstein brings to our practice the latest and most effective periodontal and implant treatments available, and strives to provide treatment that is comfortable and predictable. She is a very caring and compassionate practitioner, who prides herself on the relationships she builds with her patients.
Dr. Hochstein resides in New Jersey with her husband Greg. When she is not taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling. What she loves most about working at Dental Care Bridgewater is the opportunity to work alongside her father and continuing in the family tradition of exceptional patient care. Additionally, the office provides a warm and caring environment in which she can provide outstanding care for each patient she treats.”
Dr. Do Yoon Kim
Dr. Do Yoon Kim attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then completed advanced coursework in Electrical Engineering. From there, Dr. Kim decided to pursue dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed his General Dentistry Residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and began his career as a General Dentist. Dr. Kim developed a particular interest in Oral Surgery and attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. From there, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel/Jacobi Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Do Yoon Kim resides in Manhattan and enjoys taking walks and spending time with family and friends.
